PKP Intercity has prepared a special offer for Children’s Day — on June 1, 2026, children and teenagers will be able to travel throughout Poland for just 10 zlotys, including Pendolino trains. The sale of discounted tickets has already started.
The promotion is valid only on this day and applies to all PKP Intercity trains in second class on direct routes. Children and teenagers aged 4 to 16 can take advantage of the offer. Tickets can be purchased at ticket offices, through the e-IC system, and in the PKP Intercity mobile app — until May 27 inclusive.
During the trip, it is necessary to have a document confirming the child’s age: this can be a passport, identity card, school ID, birth certificate, or medical booklet. Children under 4 still travel for free — with a ticket showing a 100% discount and a confirming document.
For families and companions, standard discount offers from PKP Intercity are also available on June 1. The «Taniej z Bliskimi» (Cheaper with Loved Ones) promotion offers a 30% discount when traveling in a group of 2 to 6 people on TLK and IC trains. Additional state benefits may also apply.
On EIC and EIP trains, the «Bilet Rodzinny» (Family Ticket) is available — a 30% discount for a group of 2–5 people that includes at least one child under 16 years old.
Holders of the «Karta Dużej Rodziny» (Large Family Card) can take advantage of the «Duża Rodzina» offer — when traveling together with at least two beneficiaries, a 30% discount is provided, with the possibility of applying additional state benefits.
Passengers over 60 can use the «Bilet Seniora» (Senior Ticket) and receive a 30% discount on all categories of PKP Intercity trains.
Important: when using any family or group discounts, the child can also travel under the special Children’s Day promotion.
