Wojciech Prunśki has once again made it into the Guinness World Records. Recently, in Słupsk, he spent 5 hours and 8 minutes in a special box filled with ice, where the level reached up to his neck.
According to the record holder, by the end of the challenge, he was running out of air and had to use an oxygen mask. He dedicated his achievement to children and the issue of parental alienation. He also noted that he regrets not being able to attempt it in Trójmiasto.
Wojciech Prunśki is 45 years old, an entrepreneur from the Karwiny area (Gdynia). He has been practicing winter swimming for eight years and has been setting Guinness records since last year.
Previously, in February 2025, at a competition in Sopot, he spent 6 hours and 8 minutes in icy water at a temperature of around 0°C. He set another record in April in Kalisz — 4 hours and 6 minutes of continuous contact of his entire body with ice.
According to him, strict conditions are required for the attempt: a standing position, three observers, and a special glass-plastic box measuring 1.2 × 1.2 meters, completely filled with ice. It is also necessary to pay a fee to an intermediary accredited by the Guinness World Records.
