From July 4 to 11, the 16th International Music Festival NDI Sopot Classic will take place in Sopot. This year’s program includes movie hits at the Forest Opera, a city game, and a silent film screening with live music.
On July 4, Opera Leśna will host the opening concert Journey into the Unknown. Themes from "Indiana Jones" and "Pirates of the Caribbean," Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade," and an original program by VOŁOSI in symphonic arrangements will be performed.

On July 6, the city game «Na Tropie Dźwięku» will take place — for families and anyone who wants to explore Sopot through musical clues and local puzzles.

On July 7, Teatr Wybrzeże will show the silent film «Jeszcze Wyżej!» (1923) with live improvised music by composer Maciej Zakrzewski, who creates sound in real time, reacting to the images.

On July 9, the quintet Quintessence Saxophone Quintet will present the program «Pięciu Wspaniałych»: film motifs will be juxtaposed with Bach’s Toccata in D minor and Mozart’s Symphony No. 25.

On July 11, the festival will conclude with the concert «Alpejska Przygoda.»

This year’s novelty is the Festival Club, a series of meetings with the creators of the program.
