A protest under the slogan «Stop the Banderization of Ukraine» took place at Targ Rybny in Gdańsk. The event started an hour before the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine.
Participants in the protest demanded an end to the glorification of the UPA and Stepan Bandera.
«We cannot agree with the glorification of the UPA and Bandera. Ukrainian politicians are avoiding the topic and using primitive moral blackmail. We do not support Russia. We support guaranteeing independence and victory over Russia, but we cannot remain silent about elevating genocidaires to symbols,» emphasized during the protest MP Kacper Płażyński from the Law and Justice party.
«Everything can be forgiven, but we need to talk to clarify complex issues and conflicts between the Polish and Ukrainian peoples,» said one of the participants in the protest in Gdańsk.
In the evening, they announced another protest action.
