In Sopot, the summer open-air film festival kicks off: screenings on the beach from July 1 to August 31

Starting July 1, the outdoor cinema festival will kick off in Sopot — the longest summer film festival in Poland. Audiences can look forward to over 150 free film screenings and meetings with filmmakers in an unusual location: on the coast in Sopot.

The festival will open with a screening of the film «Pan Tadeusz» — one of the most famous adaptations by Andrzej Wajda, presented in a digitized and restored version. The screening is timed to coincide with the year of Andrzej Wajda.

Film screenings will take place throughout July and August. During the day, the festival café Koło Molo will be open.

This year's program includes over 50 films, organized by thematic days: Monday — family films, Tuesday — "super hits," Wednesday — the Polish cinema program "Made in Poland by LOTTO," Thursday — cinema classics, Friday — Oscar-winning films, Saturday — action, Sunday — sports films
