What to do if you encounter discrimination
If you have become a victim of a hate crime or discrimination, specialists recommend:
- if possible, preserve evidence: photographs, videos, correspondence, audio recordings, screenshots of publications or comments
- record the date, time, location of the incident, and witness contacts
- contact the police if there were threats, assault, or other offenses
