In Gdańsk, children were selling lemonade. When the police approached them — upon learning the purpose of the initiative, they couldn’t just walk by

During a patrol on Lawendowe Wzgórze street in Gdańsk, traffic police officers noticed a small roadside kiosk selling homemade lemonade. It turned out the young sellers were collecting money not for pocket money or summer fun.

The police approached the girls and asked why they had organized the drink sale. It emerged that the children had come up with and run a charity initiative on their own. They decided to put all the proceeds toward buying food for homeless animals, which they would then donate to a local shelter.

The girls' gesture moved the police officers. They not only bought lemonade but also made their own donation, supporting the children's initiative

«In our work, there are sometimes encounters that go beyond ordinary duty. This was one of them,» the Gdańsk police noted, emphasizing that they were genuinely impressed by the kindness, responsiveness, and initiative of the city’s young residents.

The police added that the story of the girls is a great example of how even a simple idea and a small act of kindness can inspire those around and provide real help to those in need

«Girls, we’re rooting for you! May your initiative bring as many full bowls as possible to the shelter,» the officers wished.
