Little ducklings got stuck in a sewage well on Porębskiego Street in Gdańsk. They were helped by the city guard
When the officers arrived, a mother duck was circling above the manhole, clearly distressed and helpless
Some of the ducklings were quickly rescued, but the others were at the very bottom of the well. The guards called for help from Gdańskie Wody employees, who used special equipment to pump out the water and safely retrieve the animals.
After a few minutes, the operation was successfully completed. In total, the employees rescued 12 ducklings, who soon returned to their mother, already swimming in the nearest body of water.
