The first weekend of September in Tricity is rich in festivals: K-POP, photography, blues, experimental art, neighborhood celebrations in the districts — and dozens of other events. We’ve gathered where to go in Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Sopot this upcoming weekend.
We have launched the Tricity events calendar. Now on trojmiasto.online you can find concerts, exhibitions, festivals, fairs, and children’s events from Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia all in one place. The calendar is automatically updated from open sources. You can also set up notifications for specific events, and our bot will send you a reminder via Telegram.
If you want your event to be included in our selection, write to us — we will inform our readers about it.
K-POP Festival: dances, Korean culture and K-POP Random Dance

The main venue of the festival will be the stage where participants can learn fragments of choreographies from popular K-POP hits, and then test their skills during the K-POP Random Dance. In this game, the music and songs change unexpectedly, and participants need to quickly recognize the tracks and repeat the familiar moves.
Uczestnicy będą mogli wybierać kolory i ozdoby, aby stworzyć własny dodatek.
Those interested will be able to get acquainted with the Korean language: learn basic phrases and greetings, as well as try to write their name in Korean. A themed photo booth with accessories and props in the style of Korean pop culture will be organized for photos.
The festival will also feature Korean sweets, K-POP merchandise, and products related to popular Korean cosmetics and skincare

Vintage Dogs in the Park

Starsze psy wracają do miasta. Wolontariusze zaprezentują swoje wyjątkowe starsze pupile: będą spacerować po parkowych alejkach, poznawać nowe zapachy, dźwięki i miejsca, a może znajdą tę wyjątkową osobę, która będzie ich na zawsze.
According to the organizers, senior dogs have already developed their character, experience, and personal history. They are often calmer, more predictable, and know exactly what they want from life: a spot on the couch, a full bowl, a walk, and a person to love unconditionally. Many of them once lost their homes and ended up in shelters for various reasons, but despite their difficult experiences, they are still capable of trusting people and waiting hopefully for their owner.
A walk outside the shelter gives dogs new experiences and a small break from the everyday environment, while volunteers have the opportunity to observe their behavior in new conditions and better inform future owners about them.
An information point for the shelter will be available on-site, where you can talk about adoption, meet the residents, and ask questions
Visiting rules: before petting a dog or approaching with your own, you need to ask for permission from a volunteer; you can bring your dog with you, but only on a leash; it’s a good idea to bring water for your pet; shelter dogs can only be handled by volunteers or staff.
