Family Picnic in Sopot

A family picnic will take place in Sopot, during which from 11:00 to 15:00 there will be available: Zumba, contests with prizes, a stage with entertainment, a relaxation area, a children's zone, a sports zone, and a gastronomic zone

Mayovka at Twierdza Wisłoujście

The sounds of gunfire, the clinking of armor, and the smell of ancient cuisine — Twierdza Wisłoujście invites you on a three-day journey through time

From May 1 to 3 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM), there will be tours of the exhibition "Szaniec Wschodni w XIX wieku", meetings with reenactors, a Napoleon zone with a camp and demonstrations, medieval knight battles, blacksmith shows, workshops, an archery range, and historical cuisine. For children — safe fencing training

A relaxation area with a bonfire is available, you can bring food or buy it on-site

Emigrant Music Festival featuring artists from Brazil, Poland, and Belarus

May 2nd is not only Flag Day but also the Day of Polonia and Poles Abroad. The Emigration Museum in Gdynia invites you to a festival of music and traditions of Polish emigrants in Brazil

On the program: workshops on Polish and Brazilian dances (fandango gaúcho, polka, oberek, sete passos), meetings and stories about the history, music, and language of the Brazilian Polonia, as well as communication with its representatives

In the evening, there will be a dance party featuring artists from Brazil, Poland, and Belarus. At the museum, in addition to Polish folk music, gaúchos — the lively rural music from southern Brazil — will also be performed

Musical lecture «The History of Sound»

A lecture by the author of the YouTube channel "Longplay," guitarist and producer of the Belarusian band Naviband, Aleksandr Tabol'ski — about how the development of sound recording influenced the music industry of the 20th century

Mayovka w atmosferze słowiańskiej osady

From May 1 to 3, a vibrant festival with historical reenactments is planned at the settlement in Sopot. On the other days, there will be unusual entertainment for children and adults, such as old board games, clay modeling, and a quest game in the area. Every day of the festival, a fire will be lit at the settlement. The organizers will provide skewers for sausages, but food must be brought along.

Concert «Majówka na Molo»

“In Love with Song” — this is not just a concert. It is an intimate journey through the most beautiful Polish songs that have been performed in Sopot for 70 years. The concert will feature works that refer to the best Polish traditions of cabaret, jazz, and popular music.

Until 5:00 PM, Molo operates as usual, ticket sales are until 4:30 PM. From 5:30 PM, entry to Molo is only with concert tickets. During the concert, Molo is closed for walks. Reopening is after 8:00 PM

MIETO.80 — free exhibition at Zbrojownia Sztuki

The MIETO.80 exhibition showcases the work of a painter, a professor of fine arts, who has been associated with the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku for many years

Mieczysław Konrad Olszewski («Mieto») is involved in painting, illustration, graphics, and sculpture using found objects. He has also created posters, theater programs, invitations, and set design.

City Market

The next Targ Miejski at 100czni will take place on May 3, right after the opening of the summer season. There will be open bars, deck chairs, and (hopefully) sunny weather. As usual: second-hand, vintage, handmade, vinyl, books, comics, and magazines

Walk: «Trees in Oliwa Park»

Majułka is a great reason to visit the Oliwa Park and, together with the dendrologist Jakub Chorodeński, explore the trees. The park is rich in rare and valuable species. The guide will share interesting facts about the plants in one of the most beautiful parks in Tricity.

Summer Ethnographic Fair

A new season of the fair opens in front of the Oddział Etnografii MNG in Oliwa Park. Here you can find products from folk artisans from Kaszuby, Kociewie, Powiśle, and Żuławy, as well as crafts and artistic items. Demonstrations of traditional crafts and folk art are held. There is regional cuisine.
