Starting Monday (May 11), thousands of passengers in Gdańsk may notice changes in their usual routes. ZTM is introducing adjustments to several key bus lines
The new schedules will take effect on Monday and concern routes that are used daily by thousands of residents. The changes are specific, but in practice, they may affect commutes to work, schools, as well as transfers at the main transport hubs of the city.
The Gdańsk City Transport Authority has announced changes to the lines: 117, 169, 171, 176, 179, 184, 213, 269, 622
The adjustments primarily concern the departure times on specific sections of the routes. In most cases, these are minor shifts on weekdays, although some changes will also affect weekends
The reason was the results of the analysis of the city transport system and the actual travel times of buses in the most congested areas. This particularly concerns Oliwa and the southern districts of Gdańsk, where traffic jams during peak hours regularly affect the punctuality of services
What exactly will change
Line 117 — adjustments in the Oliwa area
On line 117 on weekdays, the departure time will change on the section from the stop "Archikatedra Oliwska" 01 to "Oliwa" 08 in the direction of Jelitkowo. The rest of the route will remain unchanged
Lines 169, 171, 179, and 269
Zmiany będą również dotyczyć linii 169, 171, 179 i 269. W dni robocze czasy odjazdów zostaną dostosowane na odcinku między przystankami "Park Oliwski" 01 a "Oliwa" 08.
The adjustments do not affect the routes completely — they are aimed at increasing the regularity of service and reducing delays during peak hours
Lines 176 and 213 — morning rush hour
Changes on lines 176 and 213 will be in effect on weekdays from 06:15 to 09:00. Departure times have been adjusted on the section from the stop "Niepołomicka" 01 to the final stop Łostowice Świętokrzyska
Line 184 — changes for the entire week
Na linii 184 zmiany będą obowiązywać codziennie. Godziny odjazdów z przystanku "Traugutta" w kierunku Niedźwiednika ulegną niewielkim zmianom do końca trasy.
Line 622
Linia 622 jest również uwzględniona w liście zmian, jednak ZTM jeszcze nie określił szczegółów dostosowań. Pasażerowie są proszeni o wcześniejsze sprawdzenie aktualnego rozkładu.
