Millennium Docs Against Gravity — documentary film festival
From May 8 to 17, Millennium Docs Against Gravity will once again take place in Gdynia — one of the most important documentary film festivals in Europe. The program includes films about searches, losses, and discoveries, meetings with authors, and competitive screenings, as well as a large program that brings together audiences from all over Poland and abroad.

At Teatr BOTO, an unusual event Speed Dating ze Sztuką will take place — a «speed dating» format, but in the world of art. Academy of Astronomy
At Hevelianum, there will be a meeting from the cycle Akademia astronomii Jana Heweliusza, dedicated to the search and study of meteorites in Poland
Participants will learn whether it is possible to find fresh meteorites right after they fall and how modern technologies assist in this process.
The program includes real scientific cases, including the findings of the Drelów and Poświętno meteorites, as well as the particularly rare case of the Zadzim meteorite, which is important for global science. Participants will also be shown samples of meteorites and recordings from cameras and radio systems.

W Hevelianum dzieci zapraszane są do twórczych zajęć, gdzie nauka łączy się z zabawą. MIETO.80 — free exhibition at Zbrojownia Sztuki
The MIETO.80 exhibition showcases the work of a painter-artist, a professor of fine arts, who has been associated with the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku for many years.
Mieczysław Konrad Olszewski («Mieto») is engaged in painting, illustration, graphics, and sculpture made from found objects. He has also created posters, theater programs, invitations, and set design.

Ferry to the Vistula Spit
As of May 1, the ferry from Gdańsk’s Świbno to Mikoszewo in the Stegna municipality has resumed operations. This is a convenient and quick way to travel from Gdańsk towards Krynica Morska, shortening the route by 23 kilometers.
From May 1 to September 30, the ferry operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Under standard conditions, departures occur every 30 minutes. However, during peak hours, the service switches to continuous operation to accommodate all passengers. The specified time refers to departures from Świbno.
Approximate rates for the 2026 season:
— passenger car — 30 zlotys (for locals — 15 zlotys, passengers included);
— camper or minibus — 35 zlotys (for locals — 17.5 zlotys);
— motorcycle — 15 zlotys (for locals — 7.5 zlotys);
— bicycle — 10 zlotys (for locals — 5 zlotys);
— pedestrian — 5 zlotys (for locals — 2.5 zlotys);
— bus — 200 zlotys (for locals — 100 zlotys);
