The new service has already been launched and is intended for elderly people and individuals with disabilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To use the service, you need to have a Kart\u0119 do Kultury or a Karta mieszka\u0144ca Gdyni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As noted by the Deputy Director of the Gdynia Library, Magdalena Krusi\u0144ska, the program was created to simplify access to library resources for those who, due to health conditions, cannot visit the library in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 We accept both specific requests, such as for popular science literature, and can also recommend something. If a person tells us that they love to read, we select suitable books. We already had our first visit \u2014 it was an elderly woman who used to actively use the library but stopped going out as she got older. We are glad that she was able to reach out to us again, \u2014 says Krusi\u0144ska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications to participate in the &#171;Book at Home&#187; program are accepted by phone at 58 622 44 31 or by email at <a href=\"mailto:dostepnosc@bibliotekagdynia.pl\">dostepnosc@bibliotekagdynia.pl<\/a> from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>W Gdyni mo\u017cna teraz zam\u00f3wi\u0107 ksi\u0105\u017ck\u0119 lub audiobooka z biblioteki telefonicznie lub przez internet i otrzyma\u0107 go prosto do domu.
