Gda\u0144sk is launching a large-scale program "Summer Action 2026" this summer, during which the city will transform into a large open space for relaxation, learning, and entertainment for two months. Free camps, sports activities, cultural events, urban games, and dozens of festivals have been prepared for children, teenagers, and families<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, June 27, summer vacation will begin for nearly 73,000 Gda\u0144sk schoolchildren. As emphasized by the city authorities, the goal of the program is to provide children and teenagers with a safe, active, and meaningful rest throughout the summer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The summer program is designed for more than two months. In practice, this means hundreds of events, thousands of places for participants, and the opportunity to enjoy activities almost every day of the vacation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free School Camps <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the key elements of the «Summer Action» will be free camps organized in 72 Gda\u0144sk schools. About 780 groups of children will participate in five-day sessions. The program goes far beyond school buildings: children will attend sports, artistic, and theatrical workshops, museums, swimming pools, and other city facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palace of Youth: Summer Camps and Workshops<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Palace of Youth (Pa\u0142ac M\u0142odzie\u017cy) has prepared a program called «Secrets Hidden in Envelopes.» It will take place in two sessions: from June 29 to July 3 and from July 6 to July 10. Participants will create letters with memories and emotions, which they will send to their addressees at the end of the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dzieci mog\u0105 r\u00f3wnie\u017c liczy\u0107 na warsztaty artystyczne, komputerowe i sportowe, gry zespo\u0142owe, zaj\u0119cia integracyjne oraz wycieczk\u0119 autokarow\u0105. Sporty Summer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sports will be one of the main elements of the program. Almost every day, there will be activities in team games, beach volleyball, kayaking, SUP boarding, judo, and tennis tournaments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uczestnicy mog\u0105 spodziewa\u0107 si\u0119 quest\u00f3w, siatk\u00f3wki pla\u017cowej, lekkoatletyki, strefy militarnej, strefy artystycznej oraz zaj\u0119\u0107 wodnych. Przez ca\u0142e lato mieszka\u0144cy b\u0119d\u0105 mogli r\u00f3wnie\u017c korzysta\u0107 z obiekt\u00f3w sportowych w r\u00f3\u017cnych cz\u0119\u015bciach miasta za darmo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the unique projects will be the "Gda\u0144sk School Under Sails." A journey aboard the legendary sailing ship "Genera\u0142 Zaruski" will allow participants to learn the basics of navigation, meteorology, and maritime safety<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Program H2Offline, realizowany przez Akademi\u0119 Zaruskiego, nauczy pracy zespo\u0142owej i ekologii, zach\u0119caj\u0105c m\u0142odzie\u017c do sp\u0119dzania wi\u0119kszej ilo\u015bci czasu poza \u015bwiatem cyfrowym.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tournaments, Zumba, Tennis, and Judo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Letnie wydarzenia sportowe obejmuj\u0105 r\u00f3wnie\u017c otwarte turnieje siatk\u00f3wki pla\u017cowej na pla\u017cy w Brze\u017anie, kt\u00f3re odb\u0119d\u0105 si\u0119 12 i 26 lipca oraz 9 i 23 sierpnia. Gda\u0144ski Maraton Zumba zaplanowany jest na 18 lipca, \u0142\u0105cz\u0105c aktywno\u015b\u0107 fizyczn\u0105 z rozrywk\u0105 i integracj\u0105 uczestnik\u00f3w. Program obejmuje tak\u017ce dwa turnieje tenisowe na kortach Sport Park Przymorze oraz zaj\u0119cia judo dla dzieci na ulicy Traugutta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the Wybrze\u017ce Sports Academy will implement the "HULAJ Z G\u0141OW\u0104" program, which combines safe riding lessons on bicycles and scooters with physical activity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cultural Summer in Gda\u0144sk<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

"Summer Action" to nie tylko sport i obozy. Gda\u0144skie instytucje kultury przygotowa\u0142y r\u00f3wnie\u017c bardzo rozbudowany program. W praktyce oznacza to koncerty, festiwale, warsztaty, spacery po mie\u015bcie, wydarzenia edukacyjne, przedstawienia teatralne i imprezy uliczne w ca\u0142ym mie\u015bcie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the main summer events is the FETA 2026 Festival of Street and Square Theaters, which will take place in Reagan Park and at the Forum Gda\u0144sk shopping center. Theater lovers will also be able to attend the 30th anniversary Shakespeare Festival, while classical music fans can enjoy the 21st International Mozart Festival Mozartiana. Concerts from the «Muzyka w Altanie» cycle will take place in Oliwa Park, and Cappella Gedanensis will invite everyone to another edition of «Letnich Wieczor\u00f3w u Menonit\u00f3w.»<\/p>\n\n\n\n
