To help cope with the heat, the city authorities have launched a cooling system and ensured free access to drinking water. We tell you where you can refresh yourself on hot days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"where-the-cooling-misting-systems-are-operating\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where the cooling misting systems are operating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Special misting installations automatically turn on when the air temperature exceeds 26\u00b0C. They spray fine droplets of water, creating a refreshing mist and lowering the surrounding air temperature. In the evening, the structures are illuminated by LED lights powered by solar panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, such installations are operating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>at Gda\u0144skie Zoo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in the Hevelianum area;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>near Galeria Przymorze;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in the Garrison area;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>next to Forum Gda\u0144sk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>at the entrance to the pier in Brze\u017ano;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>near the Museum of the Second World War and the European Solidarity Centre;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>at Skwer Kobzdeja, Targ W\u0119glowy, Targ Rybny, and near Zielona Brama;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>near the Madison shopping center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"64-drinking-fountains-throughout-the-city\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">64 drinking fountains throughout the city<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the heat, it is especially important to drink water regularly. Gda\u0144sk has 64 publicly accessible drinking fountains that can be used for free. It is located next to the playground.
