In Gda\u0144sk, preparations are underway for the XXVIII International Festival of Street and Open Theatres FETA. From July 9 to 12, the city center and Reagana Park will transform into a vibrant stage: 30 creative groups from Poland and other countries will present their performances. This year's theme is "W\u0119dr\u00f3wki w czasie" ("Journeys Through Time")<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival will kick off on July 9 with the performance "Stracony sen" by Teatr \u00d3smego Dnia<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program includes intimate, chamber stories and large-scale productions that combine movement theatre, new circus, and performance art. Some performances focus on themes of aging and memory, the fragility of human experience, and the inevitability of the passage of time. Other works address socially significant issues: migration, identity, and tensions in contemporary society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, a separate block will be «Ma\u0142a FETA» \u2014 a program for children and families, which will take place in Reagana Park. Young audiences can look forward to performances by Polish and foreign groups, including artists from Spain, Italy, and the Czech Republic. Between shows, children will have the opportunity to participate in circus workshops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditionally, the festival will host the FOTO FETA photo contest. The results will be announced on the opening day, July 9, and the exhibition opening will begin at 21:30 in the square by Forum Gda\u0144sk. The works of the winners will be on display throughout the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
