From July 3 to 5, the Gda\u0144sk Museum invites you to another historical festival «Wis\u0142ouj\u015bcie 1628,» dedicated to the naval battle that took place nearly four hundred years ago at the fortress walls. On the night of July 5 to 6, 1628, the fleet of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Gda\u0144sk was attacked by Swedish forces \u2014 this clash became one of the most important episodes in the struggle for dominance in the Baltic Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
