W drugiej po\u0142owie czerwca kamery na trasie S6 zarejestrowa\u0142y ponad 300 przypadk\u00f3w przekroczenia pr\u0119dko\u015bci.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first section \u2014 <strong>Gda\u0144sk Owczarnia \u2013 Lotnisko<\/strong> \u2014 was launched on June 18. By the end of the month, the system recorded <strong>282 violations<\/strong>. The most serious case occurred on June 25: a Kia driver passed the section at an average speed of <strong>195 km\/h<\/strong> with a permitted limit of 120 km\/h. He exceeded the limit by <strong>75 km\/h<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second section \u2014 <strong>Gda\u0144sk Karczemki \u2013 Szad\u00f3\u0142ki<\/strong> \u2014 started operation on June 29. In the first two days, the cameras recorded <strong>30 violations<\/strong>. The record holder was a Volvo driver who was traveling at a speed of <strong>159 km\/h<\/strong>, exceeding the limit by 39 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike regular radars, the new system does not measure the speed of a vehicle at a single point. It calculates the <strong>average speed over the entire monitored section<\/strong>. Cameras record the time of entry and exit of the vehicle, and then the system automatically determines whether the driver managed to cover the distance faster than the allowed limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na przyk\u0142ad, je\u015bli odcinek 10 km mo\u017cna pokona\u0107 z pr\u0119dko\u015bci\u0105 100 km\/h w nie mniej ni\u017c 6 minut, a samoch\u00f3d przejecha\u0142 go w 5 minut, system zarejestruje przekroczenie pr\u0119dko\u015bci. Nawet je\u015bli kierowca zwolni tu\u017c przed kamer\u0105, nie pomo\u017ce to unikn\u0105\u0107 mandatu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the bypass road of Tr\u00f3jmiasto, there is a speed limit of <strong>120 km\/h<\/strong> for passenger cars, motorcycles, and trucks up to 3.5 tons.
