This species of lemur is found only in Madagascar and is critically endangered: the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has assigned it the status of critically endangered.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para lemur\u00f3w, Tanjona i Sakina, powita\u0142a swoje m\u0142ode w Gda\u0144sku w 2024 roku w ramach Europejskiego Programu Ochrony Gatunk\u00f3w Zagro\u017conych (EEP). To ju\u017c ich drugie potomstwo \u2014 pierwsze m\u0142ode urodzi\u0142o si\u0119 w zesz\u0142ym roku. In the wild, they are found only in the tropical forests of eastern Madagascar. The main reasons for the decline in their numbers are mass deforestation and poaching. According to experts, the population continues to decrease, so every successful birth within international breeding programs is of great importance for the conservation of the species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now newborns spend all their time next to their mother and gradually explore the surrounding world.
