From August 2 to 8, the fifth Football Film Festival will take place in Gda\u0144sk \u2014 a competitive showcase of documentary films about football made by Polish directors. Screenings and the awards ceremony will be held in the square by the Philharmonic on O\u0142owianka Island. For the third consecutive year, the festival is part of the St. Dominic's Fair program. Admission to all events is free<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizatorzy wybrali 11 film\u00f3w spo\u015br\u00f3d 21 zg\u0142oszonych aplikacji. Do konkursu kwalifikuj\u0105 si\u0119 prace nakr\u0119cone w latach 2023-2026. Jury, sk\u0142adaj\u0105ce si\u0119 z 12 cz\u0142onk\u00f3w, przewodniczy Janusz Basa\u0142aj. Komisja ocenia poziom profesjonalny i walory artystyczne film\u00f3w.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nagroda Trojanowskiego nosi imi\u0119 dziennikarza i wieloletniego doradcy Prezydenta Gda\u0144ska ds. sportu, kt\u00f3ry zmar\u0142 25 stycznia 2024 roku po d\u0142ugiej chorobie. Trojanowski przyczyni\u0142 si\u0119 do organizacji du\u017cych wydarze\u0144 sportowych w mie\u015bcie, w tym Euro 2012, i by\u0142 cz\u0142onkiem jury dw\u00f3ch poprzednich edycji festiwalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the competitive screenings, the program includes two sessions of Pi\u0142karskie Kino Letnie: the Spanish film "Dusz\u0430 dru\u017cyny" (2022, dir. Roberto Bueso) and the Polish film "Gwiazdy" (2017, dir. Jan Kidawa-B\u0142o\u0144ski)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A meeting is also scheduled with Marcin Oleksy, Poland’s representative for amputee football and the winner of the FIFA Pusk\u00e1s Award 2022 for the best goal of the year. A special non-competitive screening will feature the film «Legenda. Hubert Jerzy Wagner».<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, August 2<\/strong>
<\/strong>The festival will open at 5:00 PM. On this day, the films \u201cNiedziela Cud\u00f3w\u201d (dir. Ksawery Szczepanik) and \u201cLiderzy. W centrum gry: Rifet Kapi\u0107\u201d (dir. Maciej Klimek) will be shown. In the evening, viewers can look forward to the screening of the film \u201cGwiazdy\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday, August 3<\/strong>
<\/strong>On the program \u2014 \u201cKlich. Outside the Scheme,\u201d \u201cDymkowski. The Most Important Match,\u201d and \u201cChampion’s Variant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday, August 4<\/strong>
<\/strong>The films «Trofea» and «Mundial. Teatr Emocji» will be shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, August 5<\/strong>
<\/strong>The screening of the film «Na pierwszym planie. Dominika Grosicka» will take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, August 6<\/strong>
<\/strong>On the program \u2014 \u201cRzut monet\u0105\u201d. In the evening, the film \u201cPe\u0142na Mi\u0142o\u015bci\u201d will be shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday, August 7<\/strong>
