Starting from August 1, the third and final stage of the temporary traffic organization at W\u0119ze\u0142 Hucisko in the center of Gda\u0144sk will come into effect. The restrictions are related to the ongoing repairs and will be in place until August 15, 2026. After this date, only finishing works will remain at the site, which should not affect the movement of vehicles and pedestrians.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What restrictions will remain<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • narrowing of ul. Hucisko<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • closure of one lane on ul. Nowe Podwale Grodzkie from ul. Jana Augusty\u0144skiego to ul. Toru\u0144skiej towards Wrzesi\u0144ska<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    What will change from August 1<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The most noticeable changes will affect traffic around Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny<\/strong> and Targ Drzewny<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From the train station<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    When driving from Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny<\/strong>, it will no longer be possible to head towards ul. Okopowej<\/strong>. Drivers will be allowed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n\n\n
    • turn right onto ul. Hucisko<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • or turn around at the Wojew\u00f3dzka i Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna near Targ Rakowy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Departure from Targ Drzewny<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      When leaving Targu Drzewnego<\/strong>, a left turn towards ul. Okopowej<\/strong> will be prohibited. The following will remain accessible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n\n\n
      • turn right towards Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • traffic straight on ul. Hucisko with the possibility of turning around at the library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Additional changes<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
          \n\n\n
        • it will not be possible to enter ul. Hucisko from ul. 3 Maja<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • access from ul. Kartuskiej to ul. Hucisko will be prohibited<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Z ul. Targ Rakowy b\u0119dzie mo\u017cna skr\u0119ci\u0107 tylko w prawo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          In addition, ul. Stare Podwale Grodzkie<\/strong> behind the Rada Miasta Gda\u0144ska<\/strong> building will be temporarily closed to cars. This section will only be accessible for public transport buses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Changes for pedestrians<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Starting from August 1, the crossing over ul. Hucisko<\/strong> between the building of Rada Miasta Gda\u0144ska<\/strong> and Skwer im. Polskich Harcerzy w by\u0142ym Wolnym Mie\u015bcie Gda\u0144sku<\/strong> will be closed. Pedestrians will have to use the nearby crossings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Buses will take a detour<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Due to the closure of the passage through the junction, the routes of many bus lines will change, including 106, 111, 112, 123, 132, 154, 166, 178, 186, 189, 208, 212, 289, 600, 606<\/strong>, as well as the night lines N1, N4, N5, N8, N9, N14, N56, N78, and N89<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          On the section \u201cDworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny\u201d \u2192 \u201cBrama Wy\u017cynna\u201d<\/strong>, buses will take a detour via the \u201cold\u201d Podwale Grodzkie and Hucisko<\/strong> and will not stop at the temporary stop \u201cHucisko 94\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Trasy w przeciwnym kierunku pozostan\u0105 bez zmian<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The line 600<\/strong> will make a turnaround via the «old» Podwale Grodzkie and Hucisko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          When will the restrictions end<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          The city authorities emphasize that the stage starting on August 1<\/strong> will be the final stage with the introduction of new traffic restrictions<\/strong>. After August 15<\/strong>, work at W\u0119\u017ale Hucisko will continue, but without additional closures and changes to traffic organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Drivers who regularly use the route through Hucisko<\/strong>, Brama Wy\u017cynna<\/strong>, and the area of Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny<\/strong> are advised to plan their trips in advance and consider possible traffic jams in the center of Gda\u0144sk in the first half of August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
