The evening race took place under challenging weather conditions \u2014 heavy rain and strong winds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competition on the streets of Gdynia began with the start of the elite runners. A group of 39 participants set off from Skwer Ko\u015bciuszki in the fight for the title of the fastest male and female runner in the half-marathon distance in Poland. Then, the amateurs took to the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highest pace in the men&#8217;s elite was set by Adam Nowicki, who finished the race with a time of 1:03:34. The podium among men was completed by Patryk Koz\u0142owski, who finished about a minute later, and Olivier Mutwil, who came in third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Less than 10 minutes after Nowicki&#8217;s finish, spectators saw the winner of the women&#8217;s race. With a time of 1:13:18, Aleksandra Lisowska completed the distance. The winner noted that Saturday&#8217;s start is just the beginning of her preparation for the main part of the season.
