Both started off the coast of Sweden and headed towards Poland. For Kubkowski, this is already his fifth attempt to cross the Baltic, while for Szczepaniak, it is her second. Both swims are accompanied by charitable fundraising efforts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The distance of the current route is about 160 kilometers. Athletes are prohibited from leaving the water, resting on the accompanying boat, or sleeping. He covered over 100 kilometers between Ko\u0142obrzeg and the Danish island of Bornholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The routes of Kubkowski and Szepaniak are significantly longer. At the same time, both athletes are trying to complete them <strong>without exiting the water and without using any swimming aids<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before the start, Kubkowski and Szepaniak met on the Swedish shore.
