Participants will stand against hatred, violence, and xenophobia towards Ukrainians and representatives of other nationalities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Gda\u0144sk, the event will take place at <strong>17:00 in front of the Artus Court<\/strong>. The organizers invite all residents of the city who want to express support for Ukrainians and representatives of other nationalities living in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiator of the nationwide campaign is the <strong>Committee for the Defense of Democracy (Komitet Obrony Demokracji, KOD)<\/strong> together with dozens of other civic organizations. The aim of the action is to publicly oppose the growing wave of hatred, insults, and aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs hate and violence against Ukrainians, as well as people of other nationalities in Poland, have reached unprecedented levels, it is time to say \u2018enough\u2019 to the spreading wave of fascism and xenophobia,\u201d the organizers state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to them, Ukrainians in Poland are not only allies of the country in the face of Russian aggression but also an important part of society and the economy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAllowing any acts of aggression against Ukrainians is not only a danger but also a serious question of whether we, as a society, are part of the democratic European civilization,\u201d the statement says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organizers believe that the residents of Poland should openly show their solidarity \u2014 not only online but also in everyday life.
