The goods were destroyed and the tent was damaged. The total loss was estimated by the exhibitor at around 45,000 zlotys.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident occurred on the night from Friday to Saturday. The stand of <strong>Zdzis\u0142aw Pechota<\/strong>, which showcases handmade products at the fair, was damaged. Among the items were handmade lamps, including those adorned with amber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the morning, the seller discovered that some of the products had been overturned and damaged, and the trading tent itself was destroyed. According to his estimate, the value of the destroyed goods and damaged equipment amounts to approximately <strong>45 thousand zlotys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"the-organizers-reported-a-possible-hack\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The organizers reported a possible hack<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the incident, the organizers of the St. Dominic&#8217;s Fair \u2014 <strong>Mi\u0119dzynarodowe Targi Gda\u0144skie (MTG)<\/strong> \u2014 conducted a site inspection. According to them, traces were found at the stand that may indicate an attempted break-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organizers emphasized that the situation was recorded and reported to the relevant authorities. At the same time, the exhibitor&#039;s booth was insured<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The St. Dominic&#8217;s Fair is taking place this year in Gda\u0144sk from <strong>July 25 to August 16<\/strong>. It is one of the largest summer events in the city, attracting thousands of visitors and hundreds of vendors, craftsmen, and artists every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident has once again raised the issue of the safety of retail outlets that are left unattended after the market closes.
