At 4:33, the Moon will enter the Earth&#8217;s main shadow \u2014 the eclipse will become clearly visible. At its peak, the shadow will cover about 93% of the diameter of the disk: it is a partial eclipse, but in effect, it is almost like a total one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why the Moon will turn red.<\/strong>&nbsp;The Earth will be positioned between the Sun and the Moon, blocking direct light, but some rays will pass through the atmosphere. Beaches, promenades, and elevated areas with a view to the west will be suitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What you need.<\/strong>&nbsp;A telescope is not necessary \u2014 the eclipse can be clearly seen with the naked eye, binoculars will make the view more interesting.
