However, the data also allows us to see how foreigners fit into this picture \u2014 and which nationalities among them are most frequently encountered.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at the overall figures, the gap between Polish and foreign drivers remains significant<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Poles became participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n\n<li>312 accidents (compared to 43 for foreigners)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7,522 kolizji (w por\u00f3wnaniu do 1,234 dla obcokrajowc\u00f3w)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same applies to the consequences of road traffic accidents. In accidents involving Polish drivers, 10 people died and 335 were injured. Among foreigners, there was 1 fatality and 53 injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Foreign drivers account for approximately a small share of all incidents \u2014 around 12\u201314%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"who-among-foreigners-is-most-often-involved-in-accidents\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who Among Foreigners Is Most Often Involved in Accidents<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we remove the overall background and look only at foreigners, the picture becomes more concentrated. Two groups stand out here \u2014 Ukrainians and Belarusians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citizens of Ukraine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n\n<li>20 accidents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>689 collisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citizens of Belarus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n\n<li>7 accidents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>133 collisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For other foreigners, the discussion often revolves around isolated cases: some have several collisions without accidents, while others have rare traffic accidents. For example, Germany, India, Turkey, or Azerbaijan have minimal figures that do not create an overall trend<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another fact stands out: in 2025, there was only one fatality among foreign drivers. The culprit was a citizen of Hungary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at the statistics as a whole, they do not seem surprising: most traffic accidents involve Polish drivers \u2014 simply because there are more of them on the roads. Among foreigners, however, the main &#171;burden&#187; falls on Ukrainians and Belarusians, which is also directly related to their numbers in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How many collisions and accidents were caused by foreigners?
