Open-air cinema at Molo 

Starting July 1, a film festival under the open sky will kick off in Sopot — the longest summer film festival in Poland. Audiences can look forward to over 150 free film screenings and meetings with filmmakers in an unusual location: on the coast in Sopot.

Free roller skating

W ramach sezonu dostępnych będzie pięć stref tematycznych, zaprojektowanych zarówno dla początkujących, jak i doświadczonych rolkarzy:

  • skating training zone — for those who are just starting to learn roller skating
  • Freestyle slalom zone — training and slalom courses between cones for beginners and experienced participants
  • Aggressive/Urban zone — for advanced rollers who love tricks and more dynamic skating
  • children's area — a safe space for the youngest participants
  • roller hockey zone — for team game enthusiasts.

Those who do not have their own rollers or protective helmets will have access to equipment rental. To do this, it is necessary to fill out the form in advance — at least one day before the chosen date.

Men’s Playing

Męskie Granie has been a must-attend event in the summer calendar for fans of Polish music for almost two decades now. Although this, without a doubt, the most famous concert tour in the country has not always included Gdańsk in its route, it has long become a part of the city’s cultural map.

Tour of the Town Hall in Sopot

The historic building at ul. Kościuszki 25/27 is preparing for upcoming renovations — this is a great and final opportunity to peek into places that were previously inaccessible to visitors

The tour will begin in the Herb Room, where the City Council meetings and city celebrations have taken place for years. Guests will see old plans, projects, and archival photographs. Then, participants will be taken through the most interesting and previously closed corners of the building — in particular, they will be able to see the mechanism of the town hall’s tower clock up close. The tour will be attended by the president of Sopot, vice presidents, and the city secretary.

Ziaja Cup Beach Volleyball

The Ziaja Cup beach volleyball tournament is an integral part of the summer sports program in Sopot. In three summer tournaments, athletes will compete for prestige and cash prizes.

This season, three tournaments will take place: on July 4, July 18, and August 1, 2026. Each tournament follows the Open format with a limit of 24 teams. To participate, it is necessary to register a team online, with a registration fee of 50 zlotys per pair.

Holidays in the Museum: Painting Workshop

A series of workshops with artists for children aged 6 to 12 along with their accompanying adults — as part of the iconic cycle "Wakacje w Muzeum".

Each of us looks at things in our own way — we can say, sees the world from our own perspective. In the second of the summer workshops, participants will learn what perspective is and what types there are. Then they will apply their new knowledge in practice by sketching a still life with simple shapes. After that, they will transfer these shapes onto canvas using paints — and take the finished work home.

In July, the "Gdańsk Wybiera Zdrowie" program is dedicated to the prevention of skin cancer. Baltic Sonic Revisions

This is an educational exhibition about the connection between humans, nature, the city, and the sound environment of Pomorze. Exhibition "Nowe męskości w polskiej sztuce XXI wieku"

Magic vs Science

Is magic real, or is it all about science? The audience is invited to an energetic and fun scientific showdown where a magician and a scientist will face off. Both use the same materials, but each in their own way — the magician will present them as a wonder, while the scientist will explain from a physics perspective. The audience will have to decide for themselves: is what looks like magic just a clever illusion, or can science itself perform real magic?

Theater by the Sea 

During the summer holidays, Teatr Miejski in Gdynia moves outside its building, with the main stage traditionally located on the beach in Orłowo.  The season will kick off with the premiere of “Batory. Transatlantic love story” directed by Michał Walczak. One of Poland’s most renowned playwrights and directors will take the audience on a wild journey — filled with music, absurdity, irony, and the atmosphere of a night flight where anything can go awry. It’s a story about dreams of distant travels, summer fantasies, and adventures that linger in memory for a long time.

Dreams of Gdynia – contemporary art festival 

A contemporary art festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Gdynia. Exhibitions and artistic projects are located in urban spaces and experimental venues.

Summer Ethnographic Fair

A new season of the fair opens in front of the Oddział Etnografii MNG in Oliwa Park. Here you can find products from folk artisans from Kaszuby, Kociewie, Powiśle, and Żuławy, as well as crafts and artistic works. Demonstrations of traditional crafts and folk art are held. There is regional cuisine.

Ferry to the Vistula Spit

As of May 1, the ferry from Gdańsk's Świbno to Mikoszewo in the Stegna municipality has resumed operations. This is a convenient and quick way to get from Gdańsk towards Krynica Morska, shortening the route by 23 kilometers

From May 1 to September 30, the ferry operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Under standard conditions, departures occur every 30 minutes. However, during peak hours, the service switches to continuous operation to transport all interested passengers. The specified time refers to departures from Świbno.

Estimated rates for the 2026 season:
— passenger car — 30 zlotys (for locals — 15 zlotys, passengers included);
— camper or minibus — 35 zlotys (for locals — 17.5 zlotys);
— motorcycle — 15 zlotys (for locals — 7.5 zlotys);
— bicycle — 10 zlotys (for locals — 5 zlotys);
— pedestrian — 5 zlotys (for locals — 2.5 zlotys);
— bus — 200 zlotys (for locals — 100 zlotys);
— freight transport and trailers are charged at separate rates.
