Summer Film Show from the project «DIAFILM live» (for adults)

Parade for the Polish Army Day

In Gdynia, a naval parade will take place on the occasion of Polish Army Day. More than 20 ships of the Polish Navy and its allies will line up in a ceremonial formation in the waters of Gdańsk Bay. A flyover by naval aviation is also planned.

Mountain Car Racing Competitions

In Sopot and Gdynia, there will be mountain car racing competitions as part of the Górskie Samochodowe Mistrzostwa Polski. Spectators will be able to see high-speed races featuring the best Polish drivers, sports cars, a parade of participants, and award ceremonies.

  • August 14 (Friday) — administrative checks and an evening car parade through the streets of Sopot
  • August 15 (Saturday) — practice runs, official opening, demonstration performances, and two racing attempts of the 11th stage of GSMP

Octopus Film Festival

From August 11 to 16, Gdańsk will host the 9th Octopus Film Festival — the largest genre film festival in Poland. The program includes horrors, thrillers, science fiction, action films, and unusual movies that are hard to categorize into a single genre.

Craft Beer Fiesta

A craft beer festival dedicated to pizza will take place in Gdańsk. Guests can look forward to tastings of limited editions from Polish breweries, special beer innovations inspired by pizza, music from DJs, Roman pizza, casseroles, and other street snacks

Detective Game «Kryminalny Piątek»

An evening detective game for adults will take place at the Muzeum Emigracji in Gdynia. Participants will investigate a mysterious crime, search for clues, and unravel the secrets of the historic maritime terminal building. The August version of the game, titled «Gambit,» is inspired by the world of chess and combines elements of a quest, role-playing game, and classic detective story.

In the Niewinni Czarodzieje 3.0 space, a tattoo and piercing festival will take place, offering the opportunity to get a tattoo or piercing without prior appointment. Organ Concerts 

An additional series of summer organ concerts will take place at the Evangelical-Augsburg Church of the Savior in Sopot. The program will combine organ and chamber music, as well as introduce listeners to the historical organ from 1919, which has recently undergone tuning and repair.

XXI International Mozart Festival Mozartiana

In Gdańsk, one of the main music festivals dedicated to the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will take place. The program includes chamber and symphonic concerts, opera, performances for children, and unusual projects that combine classical music with traditional music from various regions of Europe.

Most events will take place outdoors in Oliwa Park and will be free of charge. The chamber concerts in Dwór Artusa and the final concert will require a ticket.

Moomin Troll Week

Retro Festival on the Batory Liner 

A themed retro festival dedicated to the legendary Polish transatlantic liner MS Batory will take place in the center of Wejherowo. Guests can expect a journey into the atmosphere of Portugal and Spain with concerts, dances, street performances, exhibitions, and flamenco workshops

The music will be performed by the bands Astrolabe, Los Bomberos, and Swing Like That Jazz Band. There will also be themed souvenirs and retro-style accessories available for purchase.

An Evening of Portuguese Culture 

On Placu Jakuba Wejhera in Wejherowo, an evening dedicated to Portuguese culture will take place. Guests can expect music from DJ Rodrigo and DJ Hirsch, a blend of Portuguese, Polish, and ethnic rhythms, dancing, and a multimedia light show. There will also be a ceramic mosaic created by participants of art workshops.

Dragon exhibition in the spirit of «Game of Thrones» and «The Lord of the Rings»

In the Auchan shopping center on ul. Szczęśliwa in Gdańsk, a free exhibition titled “Zaginiony Świat Smoków” (“The Lost World of Dragons”) is taking place. Visitors will see nine large dragon models and two dragon eggs. The exhibition will last only until August 29, after which it will be dismantled. More details HERE

Open-air cinema at the mole 

Starting July 1, a film festival under the open sky will kick off in Sopot — the longest summer film festival in Poland. Audiences can look forward to over 150 free film screenings and meetings with filmmakers in an unusual location: on the coast in Sopot.

Summer Ethnographic Fair

The new season of the fair opens in front of the Oddział Etnografii MNG in Oliwa Park. There is regional cuisine.

Kino na Szekspirowskim: na dachu z widokiem na Gdańsk

This weekend in Gdańsk, a new season of one of the most atmospheric summer projects — Kino na Szekspirowskim — kicks off. For the 11th time, screenings will take place on the roof of the Teatr Szekspirowski with a view of the old town.

The format is inspired by rooftop cinema in New York and remains unique to Poland. The program includes festival hits and winners of the biggest film awards.

Every Saturday on the beach, a series of free workouts takes place under the guidance of Anna Rędzikowska — a personal and medical trainer, fitness instructor with over 10 years of experience, and the founder of the Train and Eat platform. "M.S. Piłsudski, M.S. Batory. The ships that told the world about Poland"

Muzeum Narodowe w Gdańsku otwiera nową wystawę poświęconą historii dwóch legendarnych polskich transatlantyków. Premiera jest zorganizowana z okazji 90. rocznicy pierwszego rejsu m.s. Batory z Gdyni do Nowego Jorku. Oba statki — Batory i starszy Piłsudski — były nie tylko statkami pasażerskimi, ale także wizytówką kultury i sztuki odrodzonej Polski: ich wnętrza zaprojektowało około osiemdziesięciu wybitnych architektów i artystów okresu międzywojennego, w tym prace Zofii Strynkiewicz, Alfonsa Karnego i innych.

Aperol Night on the 32nd floor

Baltic Sonic Revisions

This is an educational exhibition about the connection between humans, nature, the city, and the sound environment of Pomorze. Exhibition "Nowe męskości w polskiej sztuce XXI wieku"

The exhibition is dedicated to images of masculinity in 21st-century art and shows how the perception of male identity has changed — from criticism of the "macho" stereotype and patriarchal norms to contemporary images of a caring, emotional, and reflective man. The exhibition touches on themes of fatherhood, crises, loneliness, digital culture, and various forms of masculinity. Magic vs Science

Is there really magic, or is it all about science? The audience is invited to an energetic and fun science showdown where a magician and a scientist will face off. Both use the same materials, but each in their own way — the magician will present them as a wonder, while the scientist will explain them from a physics perspective. The audience will have to decide for themselves: is what looks like magic just a clever illusion, or can science itself perform real magic?

Concert on the Roof 

The summer series Stacja Live Music — concerts on the rooftop in the rays of sunset. For the entire summer, the stage moves to the ROOFTOP bar on the fourth floor. The space offers a culinary journey through more than 20 cuisines of the world, while live music becomes an integral part of the atmosphere for relaxation after a busy day.

Theater by the Sea 

During the summer holidays, Teatr Miejski in Gdynia steps outside its building, with the main stage traditionally set up on the beach in Orłowo.  The season will kick off with the premiere of “Batory. Transatlantyckie love story” directed by Michał Walczak. One of Poland’s most renowned playwrights and directors will take the audience on a wild journey — filled with music, absurdity, irony, and the atmosphere of a night flight where anything can go out of control. It’s a story about dreams of distant travels, summer fantasies, and adventures that linger in memory for a long time.

Yoga at 100czni

Dreams of Gdynia – contemporary art festival 

A contemporary art festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Gdynia. Exhibitions and artistic projects are located in urban spaces and experimental venues.

Contemporary art exhibitions will be hosted in pop-up spaces throughout the center of Gdynia and will be available until September 27. The project involves around 40 artists

Ferry to the Vistula Spit

As of May 1, the ferry from Gdańsk's Świbno to Mikoszewo in the Stegna municipality has resumed operations. This is a convenient and quick way to get from Gdańsk towards Krynica Morska, shortening the route by 23 kilometers

From May 1 to September 30, the ferry operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In standard mode, departures occur every 30 minutes. However, during peak hours, the service switches to continuous operation to transport all interested passengers. The specified time refers to departures from the Świbno side.

Approximate rates for the 2026 season:
— passenger car — 30 zł (for locals — 15 zł, passengers included);
— camper or minibus — 35 zł (for locals — 17.5 zł);
— motorcycle — 15 zł (for locals — 7.5 zł);
— bicycle — 10 zł (for locals — 5 zł);
— pedestrian — 5 zł (for locals — 2.5 zł);
— bus — 200 zł (for locals — 100 zł);
— freight transport and trailers are charged at separate rates.
