Don’t know what to do on the weekend? From July 24 to 26, a variety of free and paid events will take place in Trójmiasto: from Poland’s largest yacht exhibition and the St. Dominic’s Fair to festivals, concerts, parties, and creative workshops. St. Dominic’s Fair

From July 25 to August 16, Gdańsk will host the 766th St. Dominic's Fair — one of the largest urban events in Europe
The grand opening will take place on Saturday, July 25. Starting at 10:00, the trade and gastronomic pavilions will open, including participants of the traditional bread festival.
At 12:00, there will be a ceremony of handing over the key to the city gates at Długi Targ. Before that, a specially composed hejnał of the fair will be played, consisting of 768 notes — corresponding to the number of years of its history. Then, a colorful parade featuring acrobats, dancers, and symbolic characters, including Złoty Hermes and Karmazynowy Kogut, will proceed through the streets of the Old Town.

Specialty Coffee Festival

W Gdańsku, 25 i 26 lipca odbędzie się festiwal kawy dla miłośników napojów z ziaren specialty. The Largest Yacht Exhibition

B Marina Yacht Park jest gospodarzem Festiwalu Żeglarskiego Polboat — największej wystawy jachtów i łodzi w Polsce. Odwiedzający mogą zobaczyć najnowsze motorówki, jachty żaglowe, katamarany i skutery wodne, a także zapoznać się z najnowszymi innowacjami w branży.
The festival program includes demonstrations of water sports, meetings with experts, thematic lectures, as well as free yacht trips as part of the "Zostań Wodniakiem" campaign, where everyone can try their hand at being a sailor
A ceremonial evening, Polboat Night, will also take place, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Polboat, along with the presentation of the Gdynia Polboat Awards for the best sailing and motor yachts of the festival

International Shakespeare Festival

The 30th International Shakespeare Festival will take place in Gdańsk. The program includes performances from Canada, the United Kingdom, Romania, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Poland. We have gathered all the details.
This year's theme — "Praise of Madness" — is dedicated to Prof. Jerzy Limon, the founder of the festival and the initiator of the restoration of the Shakespeare Theatre in Gdańsk

at 11:00 a culinary-historical route «100 years of Gdynia on a plate» with a guide and a meeting with the author at Muzeum Kameralne; culinary shows by Fundacja Ziołogród — traditional Kashubian ruchanki with strawberries and strawberry-herb lemonades;

Open-air cinema at the Molo

Starting from July 1, a film festival under the open sky will kick off in Sopot — the longest summer film festival in Poland. Audiences can look forward to over 150 free film screenings and meetings with filmmakers in an unusual location: on the coast in Sopot.

This is an educational exhibition about the connection between humans, nature, the city, and the sound environment of Pomorze. Exhibition "Nowe męskości w polskiej sztuce XXI wieku"

The exhibition is dedicated to the images of masculinity in 21st-century art and shows how the perception of male identity has changed — from the critique of the «macho» stereotype and patriarchal norms to modern representations of a caring, emotional, and reflective man. The exhibition touches on themes of fatherhood, crises, loneliness, digital culture, and various forms of masculinity. The main idea of the exhibition: there is no single model of masculinity — there are many different identities.

Magic vs Science

Is magic real, or is it all about science? The audience is invited to an energetic and fun scientific showdown where a magician and a scientist will face off. Both use the same materials, but each in their own way — the magician will present them as wonders, while the scientist will explain them from a physics perspective. The audience will have to decide for themselves: is what looks like magic just a clever illusion, or can science itself perform real magic?

Theater by the Sea

During the summer holidays, Teatr Miejski in Gdynia steps outside its building, with the main stage traditionally set up on the beach in Orłowo. The season will kick off with the premiere of “Batory. Transatlantyckie love story” directed by Michał Walczak. One of Poland’s most renowned playwrights and directors will take the audience on a wild journey — filled with music, absurdity, irony, and the atmosphere of a night flight where everything can spiral out of control. A contemporary art festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Gdynia. Exhibitions and artistic projects are located in urban spaces and experimental venues.

The History of Dinosaurs for Children

Organ Music Concert

Katedra Oliwska boasts three instruments: the famous large organ, the organ in the transept, and the positive organ — a small instrument in the arch of the side nave.

Summer Ethnographic Fair

A new season of the fair opens in front of the Oddział Etnografii MNG in Oliwa Park. Here you can find products from folk artisans from Kaszuby, Kociewie, Powiśle, and Żuławy, as well as crafts and artistic works. Demonstrations of traditional crafts and folk art are held. There is regional cuisine.

Ferry to the Vistula Spit

Since May 1, the ferry from Gdańsk’s Świbno to Mikoszewo in the Stegna municipality has resumed operations. This is a convenient and fast way to get from Gdańsk towards Krynica Morska, shortening the distance by 23 kilometers.
From May 1 to September 30, the ferry operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Under standard conditions, departures are every 30 minutes. However, during peak hours, the service switches to continuous operation to transport all interested passengers. The specified time refers to departures from the Świbno side.
Estimated rates for the 2026 season:
— passenger car — 30 zł (for locals — 15 zł, passengers included);
— camper or minibus — 35 zł (for locals — 17.5 zł);
— motorcycle — 15 zł (for locals — 7.5 zł);
— bicycle — 10 zł (for locals — 5 zł);
— pedestrian — 5 zł (for locals — 2.5 zł);
— bus — 200 zł (for locals — 100 zł);
— freight transport and trailers are charged at separate rates.
