An unusual tram control simulator is being created in Gdańsk. It will be located in a historic tram and will allow visitors to try their hand at being a driver. The project uses a 1978 105N tram. Special equipment is being installed in its cabin to realistically replicate the operation of a real tram.
The simulator will allow you to feel like a tram driver without leaving the city streets. Visitors will be able to operate the tram and observe the virtual route
The project combines history and modern technology. The tram 105N is part of Gdańsk's history. Such cars transported passengers around the city for many years until they were gradually replaced by more modern and low-floor models
Now the old tram will get a new life. Instead of being a regular museum exhibit, it will become an interactive object that visitors can use
The creators hope that the simulator will be interesting for both adults who remember the old Gdańsk trams and children
