Hala Targowa in Gdańsk opens on August 12. Visitors can expect three days of food, music, and entertainment

In Gdańsk, preparations are underway for the opening of Hala Targowa. On August 12, the marketplace will open its doors to visitors, and the first three days will feature a special program with music, live cooking, and entertainment

The grand opening will last from August 12 to 14. The organizers invite residents and visitors to spend these days at Hala Targowa — DJ sets, performances by musicians, culinary shows, and an evening party are planned here.

What awaits visitors on August 12

The festive program will start on August 12 at 11:00 with the official opening of Hala Targowa and DJ sets.

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to watch culinary performances in the live cooking format. They will take place three times:

  • 12:00–13:00;
  • 14:00–15:00;
  • 4:00 PM–5:00 PM.

Music, live instruments, and silent disco

On the second day of the celebration, August 13, the music program will start at 3:00 PM. Guests can look forward to DJ sets and live instrument performances.

August 14 music will start at 11:00. The main event of the evening will be a silent disco — a dance party in headphones. It will begin at 21:00 and last until 1:00 AM.

You will be able to create your own design

During all three days, a special personalization zone will be operating at Placu Dominikańskim. Here, visitors will be able to decorate T-shirts, bags, and caps with original graphics.

To take advantage of this opportunity, you need to make purchases at Hala Targowa for at least 50 zlotys and present the receipt.

Thus, the opening of Hala Targowa will not only mark the beginning of the trading space but also a full three-day city event. Guests can expect food, music, live performances, and an evening party under the open sky
