In one night, around a dozen entrances, trash shelters, shop facades, and even a bus stop were damaged in one of the districts. «Love confessions» and requests for forgiveness to certain Gosia and Kasia appeared on the walls. The damage is estimated in the hundreds of thousands of zlotys.
Someone apparently decided to turn the urban space into a personal «canvas,» leaving behind chaotic inscriptions — «confessions» of love to the mysterious Gosia and Kasia, as well as requests for forgiveness. Infrastructure elements were also damaged: walls, entrances to buildings, benches, and fences were affected.
— Some vandal, clearly very much in love with «Gosia» or «Kasia,» spoiled dozens of facades, entrances to buildings, benches, fences, etc. Even a jacket left on a bench was damaged. If anyone saw anything, it’s worth reporting… Based on the amount of paint on the sidewalk and the information from the «art sufferer» (who left a note saying he stained his clothes), I appeal to parents: check on your children, — writes one of the residents.
The housing association «Morena» described the incident not as a «prank,» but as serious vandalism, emphasizing that restoration will require significant funds that could have gone towards repairs and improvements.
On one of the benches, the offender’s belongings were likely left behind — a hoodie and a cap size 158. Residents are asked to help identify the person and to pass any information to the administration or the police.
