Starting from August 31, 2026, changes in traffic organization will be implemented at the intersection of Podwale Przedmiejskie and Łąkowa streets in Gdańsk. These changes will affect both vehicle and public transport traffic and will be in effect until the end of September.
The intersection will close access through the torlys, and left turns from Podwala Przedmiejskiego street will also be prohibited. On Łąkowa street, drivers will only be able to turn right, and the western pedestrian crossing will be closed.
Additionally, starting from August 31, the routes of bus lines N9, N78, 106, 111, and 138 will change. Some stops will be temporarily closed, including: «Chłodna» 01, «Wróbla» 02, «Dobra» 02, «Ożdżyńskiego» 01, «Muzeum Narodowe» 01, and «Toruńska» 01.
Instead of closed stops, temporary ones will be opened: "Akademia Muzyczna" 93, "Chmielna" 03, and "Żabi Kruk" 03. Buses will follow a modified route from the "Długie Ogrody" 01 stop to "Brama Wyżynna"
The changes will also affect the night routes N9 and N78, which will come into effect on September 1, 2026. Passengers should be prepared for the new regulations and take into account the changes in the schedule and routes.
Change management is related to the ongoing reconstruction work on the tram tracks at Podwale Przedmiejskie, carried out by the company Primost Południe
