The popular Polish food blogger Książulo visited the St. Dominic’s Fair in Gdańsk to check if the food prices here are really as high as visitors say. The most discussed moment was the price of grilled pork neck — for one portion, the blogger paid 70 zlotys and was clearly shocked by the price tag.
One of the first dishes that Książulo tried was fried pork neck. He paid 70 zlotys for the meat, and he also had to give 6 zlotys for ketchup and mustard.
Despite the price, the blogger rated the dish positively. According to him, the meat was juicy, tender, and well-cooked. However, the side dish was disappointing — the pickled cucumber, as the blogger joked, looked like it had been «pulled from the bottom of a barrel.»

A much greater impression on Książulo was made by the traditional Kashubian Ruchanki z fjutem — fluffy yeast pancakes with thick beet syrup. The blogger highly appreciated the taste of the dessert and admitted that he would gladly eat it more often. There were also some signature jokes about the unusual name of the dish.
During a walk through the fair, Książulo wanted to film a review of another meat stand, but its owner prohibited filming. After that, the blogger refused to buy food there and continued his walk
Later, a woman approached him who criticized his activities. Despite this, the video from the Jarmark św. Dominika quickly gained popularity on social media. Users are actively discussing not only the high prices at the fair but also Książulo's positive reviews of some regional dishes.
