From May 4, Ukrainian citizens with PESEL UKR status will be able to apply for a three-year residence card CUKR. The application process is only online through the Moduł Obsługi Spraw (MOS) portal.
Who can obtain the card:
— Ukrainian citizens and their family members (including spouses),
— with UKR status on June 4, 2025, and at the time of application,
— with continuous UKR status for at least 365 days,
— with legal residence in Poland under temporary protection.
How to apply:
The process is fully electronic through the MOS portal. The application can be saved and edited. After submission, the applicant will be invited to the voivodeship office to collect the completed card.
To apply, you need to register in the MOS system, log in via login.gov.pl, and sign the application (Profil Zaufany, electronic or personal signature)
After receiving the CUKR card, the UKR status and associated benefits, including free accommodation and meals, will be lost.
The duration of stay under CUKR counts towards obtaining long-term EU residency. In the future, it is possible to apply for a residence permit on general terms.
Cost:
— 340 zł — stamp duty,
— 100 zł — card production.
When can an application be denied:
— if the applicant is on the list of undesirable persons or in the SIS database,
— for security or public order reasons.
