From June 24, extensive restrictions have been introduced in Gdańsk: streets are closed, and public transport routes have been changed

In Gdańsk, from June 24 to June 26, significant changes will be introduced in traffic organization, parking, and public transport operations. Additionally, bike stations will be disabled, and in certain areas, it will not be possible to end the rental of electric scooters.

The changes will affect the following areas the most:

  • the Letnica district (near AmberExpo)
  • the historical center
  • the Europejskie Centrum Solidarności district

Road Closures and Detours

From June 24 (00:00) to June 26 (23:59):

  • completely closed to regular traffic: ul. Żaglowa
  • ul. Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk
  • restricted access from the Węzeł Harfa side
  • entry only with passes (services, organizers, accredited participants)
  • Detours will be organized via:

    • Al. Macieja Płażyńskiego
    • ul. Marynarki Polskiej

    Restrictions in the Center

    In the city center:

    • no stopping and parking on the streets:
      • Ogarna
      • Powroźnicza
      • Piwna
      • Chlebnicka
      • Kramarska
      • Kołodziejska and others.
    • completely closed:
      • Targ Węglowy
      • Targ Rakowy

    Additionally:

    • ul. Nowomiejska is closed
    • restrictions around Plac Solidarności, ul. Doki, and Drogi do Wolności
    • brief closures may occur throughout the city due to the passage of delegations

    Transport Changes

    Changes will also affect public transport:

    • buses No. 106, 130, 122, 149, and 158 will operate on detour routes
    • the Mevo city bike rental stations will be temporarily disabled, including: near AmberExpo
    • near Dwór Artusa
    • near the Europejskie Centrum Solidarności

    Additionally, in certain areas, it will not be possible to end the rental of electric scooters.

    Additional Security Measures

    During the conference, strict rules will be in place:

    • prohibition on carrying and transporting weapons (even unloaded)
    • prohibition on pyrotechnics
    • restrictions on drone flights (checking through PANSA systems is mandatory)

    Additionally, from June 24 to June 26, the transport of hazardous materials (explosives, toxic, flammable) will be restricted in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
