In Gdańsk, a teenager jumped from the second floor while trying to escape from the police: a large stash of drugs was found in the apartment

The police in Gdańsk detained a 17-year-old teenager who was storing a large quantity of drugs in his apartment. In an attempt to escape from the officers, he jumped from the second floor, but was apprehended after a short chase. The court ordered the teenager to be held in custody for three months.

It all started when the police were supposed to detain a 17-year-old resident of Orunia and take him to a Youth Educational Center. During the check, the officers established where he lived and learned that there was likely a large quantity of drugs in the apartment.

Last Wednesday, they went to check the apartment, suspecting that the 17-year-old teenager might be there.

He was only wearing pants and tried to escape through the window.

— When the police knocked on the door of the apartment, the frightened 17-year-old boy, dressed only in pants, attempted to flee through the window of the second-floor apartment, but was apprehended after a short chase. Jumping out of the window, he was not injured and was soon taken to the police station, — reports Mariusz Chrzanowski from the City Police Headquarters in Gdańsk.

In the apartment where he was located, the police discovered and seized a bag of drugs, as well as — as it later turned out — a replica of a weapon. The seized substances and the item resembling a weapon were handed over to a forensic expert.
