On Thursday, September 3, around 1:30 PM, a passenger train collided with a freight vehicle at the railway crossing near the Gdańsk Lipce stop. There were about 250 passengers on the train.
According to preliminary information, a truck entered the railway tracks, after which it was hit by a train traveling on the route Zielona Góra — Gdynia.
As a result of the accident, the truck driver was injured. The man was conscious and was taken to the hospital for examination. Several train passengers and the conductor initially complained of minor ailments, but they did not require hospitalization.
Train services suspended

Due to an accident, train traffic on the section Pruś- Gdański — Gdańsk- Południowy has been temporarily halted. Trains are being redirected via an altered route through Gdańsk Olszynka.
According to railway services, it was initially expected that the restrictions would last at least until 18:00. Passengers are advised to consider possible delays and changes in routes.
