The police dog Sёgun has once again confirmed his title as the best rescuer. Thanks to his excellent sense of smell, the police quickly found a 19-year-old boy who was in a severe emotional crisis and had gone into the forest
The message was received by the police in the evening. According to law enforcement, the young man left home and headed towards the forest area. A dog handler with a service dog arrived at the last known location of the boy. It was there that Sёgun picked up the scent. The young man’s mother, who was supposed to wait for the police at home, had already set out to search for her son on her own by that time.

Sёgun szybko doprowadził policjantów do 19-letniego chłopca i jego matki, którzy znajdowali się w pobliżu siebie. Operacja poszukiwawcza zakończyła się sukcesem
Sёgun is considered one of the best service dogs in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. He is the current champion of the region and ranks seventh in Poland among patrol and search dogs. For seven years, the dog has served alongside his handler — graduate student Jacek Werbiński, who specializes in training service dogs.
If a person’s life or health is in danger, immediately call the emergency service number 112. The sooner the search begins or help is provided, the higher the chances of avoiding tragedy.
