W Polsce zmieniają się zasady przeprowadzania egzaminów państwowych z języka polskiego dla cudzoziemców. Reforma ma na celu uproszczenie organizacji testów oraz zwiększenie liczby egzaminatorów w odpowiedzi na gwałtowny wzrost zapotrzebowania na certyfikaty językowe.
The bill was prepared by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The main part of the changes will come into effect in 2027, but some provisions will start to apply already during the recruitment period for the 2026/2027 academic year. The amendments to the law have been signed by the President of Poland.

Tighter requirements for examination centers
Egzaminy będą przeprowadzane tylko przez instytucje, które faktycznie uczą języka polskiego lub prowadzą programy filologii polskiej. Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego będzie miało prawo do cofania licencji na przeprowadzanie egzaminów — zarówno na wniosek komisji, jak i z własnej inicjatywy.
Zasady przedłużania akredytacji również zostaną zaostrzone: teraz będzie brana pod uwagę ilość nauczania języka polskiego w danej instytucji.
More examiners and redistribution of workload
According to the reform, one examination commission will be able to accept up to 30 candidates at the same time instead of the previous 20. An additional examiner will be appointed for every additional 15 people
Będzie również oficjalny podział uczestników na grupy wiekowe — poniżej 16 roku życia oraz 16 lat i więcej.
The pool of specialists who can work in the commissions will also expand. In addition to graduates of Polish philology, teachers with other higher education will also be allowed to take the exams if they have practical experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language.
Furthermore, the State Commission for the Confirmation of Knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language will have the right to inspect the work of examination centers

New powers for NAWA
The Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej will receive additional functions. The agency will accept applications for duplicate certificates and be responsible for collecting examination fees
