Yesterday, May 21, just a few hours after a knife attack in the Chełm area, another similar incident occurred in Gdańsk — this time in Przymorze. The attacker has been detained.
The incident on Piastowska Street took place on Thursday, May 21, around 10:00 PM. The police received a report that a man had been injured by a sharp object in the area of one of the stores in Przymorze.
— According to preliminary information, a quarrel occurred between two men, during which one of them stabbed the other in the forearm, after which he fled the scene, — reported Sergeant Edyta Krefta from the City Police Headquarters in Gdańsk.
The injured 34-year-old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His life is not in danger.
On the same day, the police detained a 22-year-old man suspected of involvement in the incident.
