The men committed thefts in the same store in the area of Sopot. Both chose the same product — LEGO sets. And both were apprehended on the same day.
Arrests took place on May 4 during the service of patrol police officers. While patrolling the streets of Sopot, the police identified and detained two men suspected of previous thefts in one of the local stores.
The younger one stole less, the older one — significantly more. The first arrested is a 30-year-old resident of Sopot, who stole LEGO sets worth 839 zlotys. The second is a 47-year-old resident of the city, who has several thefts from the same store on his record. The total value of the sets he stole amounted to 4968 zlotys.
According to the police, the men acted independently of each other, but their methods turned out to be remarkably similar: both chose the same store and the same type of product — popular LEGO sets.
Both cases will now be considered in court.
