In the morning of July 1, an unusual incident occurred in Gdańsk. A frightened resident called the services and reported that there was a snake in her apartment
Employees of the environmental department of the municipal guard received this assignment during the morning briefing — they were to capture and transport the animal
According to the guards, the snake was first caught in the apartment and handed over to the firefighters, and then to the municipal service. The woman who called for help did not know how the reptile could have gotten into her home.
Fortunately, it turned out to be a harmless corn snake. No one was hurt — neither the owner nor the snake itself
The eco patrol took the animal and handed it over to the Help4Herps foundation, which takes care of reptiles.
