In the Pomeranian Voivodeship, there are 24-hour pharmacies and emergency care points where you can obtain medications and medical assistance at night, on weekends, and holidays. We have compiled current lists of such places in the region
Night and Holiday Medical Assistance
Night and holiday medical assistance is provided from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM on weekdays, as well as around the clock on weekends and holidays. You can seek help in case of sudden illness or a sharp deterioration in condition, if there is no immediate threat to life, but there is a risk of health deterioration, or if home treatment has not been effective and there is no possibility to wait for the clinic to open.
Assistance is provided at any night and holiday care point — without territorial restrictions and regardless of which POZ doctor the patient is attached to. Consultations are conducted on an outpatient basis, by phone, and if necessary — at home (within the assigned area). In certain cases, the doctor may refer the patient to a hospital or call an ambulance.
The patient has the right to obtain a medical certificate regarding their health condition and the assistance provided. Certificates of incapacity for work or exemption from duties are issued by the doctor who has determined such necessity
Information about the addresses and phone numbers of night and holiday care points should be available in every POZ clinic, including in a visible place for patients.
