The Police of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), detained a 17-year-old resident of the region. The girl is suspected of being an accomplice in the preparation of a terrorist attack on a school in Canada. According to RMF FM, she offered assistance online in providing instructions for making an explosive device
As reported by RMF FM, the teenager offered instructions for making an explosive device using PVC pipe on one of the internet forums. She used a nickname that referred to a participant in the school shooting in Colorado that occurred in 1999.
The law enforcement agencies identified the girl’s address. During a search of her apartment, computer equipment and data storage devices were seized. Images of killers and participants in school shootings were also found in the premises.
The detained individual has been charged by the prosecutor’s office in Tczew. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
Additionally, as reported by RMF FM, during the investigation, Polish services, based on information from the FBI, identified another teenager who allegedly contacted a person suspected of preparing an attack on a high school in Turkey. The case of this minor is being handled by the family court.
