In the center of Gdynia, traffic disruptions are expected this weekend due to the PKO half marathon. Restrictions will begin on Friday when Al. Jana Pawła II will be closed. Traffic will be restored on Sunday
This weekend, drivers can expect difficulties in the center of Gdynia due to the PKO Półmaraton, which will take place along the central streets of Gdynia.
The first restrictions for vehicle traffic will be introduced on Friday. At 8:00, Al. Jana Pawła II will be closed at the section near the entrance to the marina. Traffic in this area will be restored on Sunday at 8:00.
On Saturday morning, a running town will be set up at Skwer Kościuszki. From 7:00 AM, Skwer Kościuszki (at the level of ul. Świętojańskiej) will be inaccessible to drivers. The street will be reopened the same day at 11:00 PM.
The children’s races will start at 12:00. Their routes are planned to avoid impacting vehicle traffic. The start and finish will be located at the city beach in Śródmieście. The courses will run along the Bulwar Nadmorski.
PKO Gdynia 5K (25.04)
The first race on the streets of the city will be the PKO Gdynia 5K, which is scheduled to start at 17:00. As a result, the following will be closed from 16:00:

exit from the hospital on one lane on 10 Lutego St.
Departure from Kamienna Góra:
through ul. Legionów in both directions,
after passing the last participant — through ul. Armii Krajowej and ul. 10 Lutego.
Departure towards Gdańsk:
across the lane on ul. Władysława IV from ul. 3 Maja,
ul. Armii Krajowej to Al. Marsz. Piłsudskiego and the turn onto ul. Śląską.
