The popular McDonald's has returned to Dworzec Główny in Gdańsk after a six-year hiatus. The restaurant opened on June 1 — on Children's Day
The establishment was closed over 6 years ago due to the prolonged reconstruction of the historic train station building. The work was complicated by the need for approvals from the monument conservator, which also affected the timelines
The restaurant has been completely renovated — the interior is designed in the style of old Gdańsk. The new McDonald's occupies about 600 m², has two levels, and the walls are adorned with photographs of iconic places in the city, including shipbuilding cranes
The restaurant is open daily from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM. In the future, an extension of operating hours is announced
