On Saturday, June 20, a nationwide first aid training will take place across Poland. Residents are invited to learn basic skills for free that can save lives — from assessing the situation to resuscitation.
The sessions will be conducted by specialists, and hospitals and medical centers from the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA), voivodeship administrations, and local authorities will join the initiative.
Participants will be shown how to act correctly in an emergency situation:
— assess the safety at the scene;
— check the consciousness and breathing of the victim;
— call for help;
— perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
The trainings will take place in various cities, including:
Gdańsk — SP ZOZ MSWiA w Gdańsku, 09:00–12:00;
Sopot — SP ZOZ Sanatorium Uzdrowiskowe w Sopocie, 10:00–13:00.
