Residents of Tricity have received a new option for winter recreation. Wizz Air has added a direct connection from Gdańsk to Tenerife in the winter schedule for 2026/2027. The first flight is scheduled for October 27, 2026
Flights will operate to Tenerife South airport twice a week — on Tuesdays and Saturdays. During the Christmas holiday period, the airline has additionally scheduled flights on Thursdays.
Tickets for specific dates are already available from 249 zlotys one way. The price depends on the date and the number of remaining cheap seats, so during popular periods, especially Christmas and New Year, the cost may be higher.
The new route network is especially interesting for those who want to swap the Polish winter for the ocean, mild climate, and volcanic landscapes of Tenerife
In total, in the winter of 2026/2027, Wizz Air will increase the number of seats from Poland to the Canary Islands — around 237 thousand seats will be available to Tenerife, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria, which is 28% more than the previous year.
